Would it not be better to just have one forum rather than a separate one for general stuff. It could be slow enough for a while with just the one forum.

It's going to take a while to get used to using anything but FUD, lol.
On that subject, is it worth looking at forum s/w? Do we want familiarity? I have no idea on this.

I'm surprised how little it took tonight to kick start this, although it's been building for a while.

We need Webb on board to email out to at least some of the ninja list.
We could do the lot, but I'd be inclined to build up rather than try and do everything at once.

I think we need to have a think about how everything hangs together, from the front page, to the gallery (we need sub galleries btw, wallpapers, current squad, legends, humour, gifs, etc), to the forum, to the stats, to the news and match reports, etc.

Links to Fantasy Rafa, Links to our own member fan blogs (or host them?).

There is soooo much we can do, it's a matter of where to start, and also how to build it into the existing framework given that we don't have a blank canvas.

I wish I were a techie, because I'd love to be a part of this.
If there are non-techie tools I can use, that you can recommend and I can d/l from somewhere I will give my evenings happily.

I'm not sure if it's just me being tired, but it seems a LOT less clear on here which threads have new unread posts than it does on F365.
Is that something we can fix with this s/w?


Oh, and I was going to ask if we can add a site-wide Favicon... It may be a small thing, but it's a nice touch.

What are our thoughts on sigs?
Having just looked, there are existing members with big sigs (or pics in sigs).
I'm all for sigs, but having one take 3" of the screen seems daft.

I'm hoping this is a set-up issue, but I don't know any forum that doesn't highlight threads with unread posts on the main page.
Even with just 4 of us here, it makes navigating a pain in the arse.

Also, we need 24hr clock.
