Battlefield 3 is great, you just need to, you know, use the vehicles on the vehicle based maps

cheers for the advice but a lot of the point is you dont on conquest, you can just run about and take all the bases whilst everybody is pissing about in vehicles, just not enough players to make it work

ive played it more since and basically when you have a really good game its amazing, but its far too rare

Maybe you need to join a group?

I would play with the 365 lot when I do basically guarantees you have 10-12 on as a starting point and 90% of the time the server will be full.

Some of the maps are massive but for those it's all about tanks and choppers or just spawning in one of the central points.

Like C on caspian border or B/C/D on kharg island and on noshahr canal whichever point is open basically.

Flexo always makes the same complaint you have yet quite often I'll see him spawning back at the main base and running towards objectives rather than just spawning on one of our flags.

BF3 on 64 player conquest is about the only way to play it.

Planetside 2 is coming and that is going to be amazing. MMO FPS, the old one we used to have 500 people working in relative harmony to take over continents. Was epic at times, really really epic.
