ahh, bliss.

I am currently sat in a meeting room meant for 12, on my own.... just me, a can of Dr Pepper, my Laptop and some process maps to type up.

obviously i've done nothing yet but still, it's nice and quiet and lovely.

well, yes. what's wrong with that?

by the way, talk about pride before a fall. There i was enjoying my solitude and then at 3pm i had a "quick" meeting with one of the architecture guys... an hr and 20 mins later i've just got back!!

Bollocks basically, i still have 2 processmaps to type up and i want to be in the pub for 5:30 :n:

Why was I not informed that freight to Saudi Arabia has changed?! New legislation?

What an excellent day I've had.

You sir, are a liar.

There is not a single thread about importing/exporting of equipment for use in the construction industry.

I have heard the word incoterms used but dunno if it's relevant to this. I don't know what ICM is, let alone if it was useful

My problem is all certifcate of origin related.  :x

institute of Credit management - I took their course last yr. big section on Trade credit detailing Incoterms (international standards for shipping freight) and also bills of laden, certificates of origin etc etc.

I take it you're exporting to a country that won't accept goods from another country then? As it's Saudi Arabia then i guess so.

It's ok, we've sent loads in the past but they now need to have country of origin on every item, box, and all over the bastard pallet. It's sorted but wasted an hour or so today that I could probably have used better.

how rude.

Diet Coke is ok for girls i suppose but men drink proper things like dandilion and burdock, panda pops, Dr Pepper or Bass Shandy, ok maybe not the last one but still, old school drinks for the win :o
