Spurs really should be picking up 3 points here, so many chances missed.

Points dropped lol.  :vuvu:

Not that we should care as they are not our rivals for the league.

I always think Bale looks like a character out of a Final Fantasy game.

Top of the league 4-0. 7 shots, 5 on target, 4 goals. Reads like Arshavin's record at anfield.

Did he?

I've had a quick search but can't really find anything. I can't remember him having vast sums to spend though.

He was there for two years and spend a decent amountof money on the likes of Diamanti, Behrami etc...At same time he let go of people like Lucas Neil and Lee Bowyer.

Whilst I've never really looked into it in too much detail I was always under the impression he basically had to sell all the best players and replace them with lads from the youth team. Behrami, Diamanti and Savio are the only 3 players I could think of who he spent decent money on and even they were only £5-6m each.

Savio was 12 million which was from the Bellamy money. Other than that they hardly raised money from player sales. Etherington and Mullins were sold for small amounts and a lot of players were let go for free. Bowyer was one of the best players at Brum last year.
