One thing Ive been wondering is, I cant see spearing being dropped really as we need him to be dm, cant see adam being dropped as kenny loves him, obbo gerrard will play, but then I also dont think henderson will be benched for 2 on the run? What do you reckon he will do with the midfield?

Why drop Carroll when he's starting to play well FFS!

Probably gonna play on the counter, cant do that with carroll up front #guesswork

Also whilst he has improved, hes not exactly been in undroppable form

What Downing has done to get in though god knows, said elsewhere I reckon its just a law of averages thing with him now, he MUST have a stormer soon enough surely

It is a bit weird that we seem to have bought Downing to play specifically without Carroll, when you'd have been forgiven for thinking the two signings went hand in hand


edit: Spearing Henderson Gerrard has a nice balance about it

I know Dirk was gash in the previous game but he LOVES playing agianst Man U and has always played his best against them...

My issue with that is that you end up with either Hendo or Gerrard on the right and you are relying on Carroll to link up with Suarez, something they havent really been doing this season (albeit on limited ish evidence)

and carroll doesn't track back so GlenJo is exposed :-(

Hmm I was thinking it'd be Hendo on the right with Kuyt up front today, but I guess it could be Kuyt right and Gerrard or Hendo off Suarez.
