Yeah subs is an odd one really. Considering he's not been afraid to make some strange decisions with formations and personnel, he seems resluctant to do anything with subs.

Leaving Henderson on today was probably the most confusing decision of all

He was atrocious, disinterested and frankly looked fucked off. Was really odd.

I think Henderson is the new Paul Scholes. Does fuck all, can't tackle, but just passes non stop. I like his patience and awareness on and off the ball.

I'm fairly sure he touched the ball twice in the first half, no?

Given he had to bin off Downing as a priority I could understand leaving Henderson

I'd like to wake up one morning and find a report about a football game.

Tired of all this crap. At this point I'd take Jose just to see him clean everything out.

That said, maybe it's not what we need either:

This handshake crap is not going to go away:

Quote

PFA ChiefTaylor, who has worked tirelessly to stamp out racism within the game, feels it is time for the Football Association to step in.
"What Suarez did was disrespectful, inappropriate and embarrassing," he said.
"If anything, Patrice Evra was the victim and he was prepared to put his hand out.
"These players are expected to be role models but if we have a situation where nobody accepts the findings of hearings and just carries on regardless, all you get is anarchy.
"Now the Football Association have to step in because the whole situation has gone too far.
"Suarez had a chance to put everything to be yesterday, in front of a worldwide audience.
"The fact that he chose not to is, quite frankly, depressing."

Get him banned for another 8 games :woo:

I think he refused to shake his hand not on racialist grounds, but because Evra is a complete cunt. Whether right or wrong in doing so, suarez clearly doesn't believe what he said is racist, so he must despise the guy for demonising him to the whole country

Suarez done apologised now.

I really think liverpool/suarez have made this worse by vehemently denying it, then not appealling, then not shaking his hand then apologising.

Stick to the story of 'evra made it all up' or dont pls.

I don't get why there's such a big furore being made over a fucking hand-shake tbh.

Because the idiots will say it's racially motivated: "I'm not shaking that ni$$er's hand!" sort of bollox.

If there's any sort of action against Suarez from outside the club, LFC need to tell them to shove it.

If they try to punish him any more its rubbish, no rule says you need to shake somebodys hand after all, and he has already been punished for the first racism

I really think Liverpool should have appealed the ban, its like theyve admitted guilt but backed a racist, that is how its being spun in a lot of places.

I think not appealling was a football decision based upon having all those cup games and for club image its backfired badly, first start being at OT was always quite likely to cause issues too.

Both Kenny and Suarez have apologised now, which is good and that should be that both in terms of the mentalists trying to claim this is still Evra's fault for pulling some kind of dummy fake handshake shimmy and those trying to suggest the club should be flagellating ourselves further.

Would have been better if he'd just shook his hand - he didnt. He apologised. Good. Done.

For me the biggest issue was how quick Evra was to grab him and start pointing it out ot the TV cameras, it wasn't needed and again if he's some kind of victim reduced to tears he was quick to be on the WUM.

Should see him getting a ban for that tackle on Rio as well tbf.

We've handled it badly from top to bottom but it's done now. Hopefully it will blow over eventually and we can talk about football again.

If Suarez does anything else twattish, sell him. Jobs a good un, we can spend the money on Shane Long.
