He went too far though. If he'd have just apologised, taken the ban and then shaken Evra's hand things would be alot better. He was wrong and that's that.

Best player or not it's not exactly acceptable behaviour now is it.

You see, here's where we disagree. I don't think he or we should ever have "just apologised" in terms of accepting a charge of verbal abuse with racist terminology. We should have said what we said: misunderstanding, not racist and apologised only if Evra misunderstood and thus was butthurt but no more. Anything else is pandering to the circus.

That said, he should have shaken hands because he's just annoyed a lot of people who are happy to have any excuse to criticise both him and the club. It would have shown he was above the bollox and even bolstered his own position slightly.

SD got it right, we're getting what we bought.
I gave her gifts of the mind I gave her the secret sign that's known to the artists who have known the true gods of sound and stone and word and tint. I did not stint for I gave her poems to say with her own name there and her own dark hair like clouds over fields of May.

I'd be worried if a player said he wouldn't do it tbh.

The handball isnt the best example. The only reason not to handball in that situation would be if you didn't think to. The biting on the other hand is a perfect example. I'm not saying he should be strung up but ultimately I would've preferred if he'd slapped/bitten/tickled someone instead of what happened.
